Rainbow over Reykjavik - February 2015
I visited Iceland in February 2015, carrying my newly repaired Fuji FX1 pocket camera. My husband and I climbed the tower of Hallgrímskirkja - a Lutheran parish church in Reykjavík, Iceland. At 73 metres, it is the largest church in Iceland, and one of the tallest structures in the country. While we were in the tower the wind howled and the dark skies roiled - then a rainbow formed over the colourful buildings of the downtown area and absolutely glowed! Beautiful - although you wouldn't know it from the pic taken by my Fuji FX1. Luckily my husband had brought his Nikon DSLR camera with him - otherwise this would have been a moment lost forever thanks to the Fuji FX1.
