Canoeing Down the Lake
Every year I go back to BC's West Kootenays and go for a 5 day canoe trip with my mom. We always canoe down the same lake but every year it's a little bit different. This last year there were a couple forest fires in the region, giving the landscape a hazy blue layered look. At first I thought it unsightly but soon it seemed mysterious, almost magical.
