Two Canoes

Last summer we went on a 5 day canoe trip down a lake in the West Kootenays of BC. We would pull up on a different beach every afternoon and make camp, then pack up and set out again the next morning. I caught this scene on a lazy morning, keen on the way the forms of the two slow canoes both mirrored and contrasted the lines from airplanes far above.
