This is a photo of the Haleakala crater on the island of Maui in Hawaii. We drove up to the summit, through the clouds, and saw breathtaking views of the crater. It was a beautiful day, sunny but cold at over 10,000 feet. It was amazing to be standing above the clouds and looking at a Mars-like landscape below us.
