While taking photos of the Cobra and the GT-500 a city police car arrived to escort the Cobra back to his trailer. The Cobra driver was Allen Grant, a team driver for Carroll Shelby in 1965. The Cobra he is driving is one he drove prior to driving for Shelby. The event was a car show to honor Carroll Shelby's passing. He had brought the Cobra down in a trailer and was escorted to the show by the city police. While waiting to escort him back we had an idea. I am the owner of the GT-500. Allen & I thought it would be neat to have the patrol officer pretend she was writing us a ticket for, say, having to much fun. She agreed and this is the picture that was taken of the event. This was taken at Independence Oregon with the Willamette River in the background.
