My friend Dee Anna turned 50 in 2012 and felt uncomfortable about herself. Her age, her weight, her hair, on and on. I knew Dee Anna was gorgeous and had a personality that would shine out beyond the physical. After some coaxing on my part we decided to go to Turtle Creek in Dallas, have some fun, and just pretend to have a glamorous photo shoot. The end result was one of the best photos I've ever taken of my friend as well as one of the best images that I captured in 2012. And my photo matters because it proves, with attitude and creativity, age DOESN'T matter!
