This photo depicts the rural way of life we live here in SE Oregon. It's fall gathering time. The season to bring in the cow/calf pairs from summer pasture to begin weaning the calves. It's hard work for both horse and rider as you can see the amount of country that must be ridden to bring in all the cows. Personally, I love how this photo brings the true grandeur of the Great Basin into perspective for the viewer from the cowboy's eyes. by: Karen |
